Savings schemes & CRM

The customers who come back every month

A gold savings scheme is the most reliable footfall a jewellery shop has, and the most awkward thing to run on paper. JewellerGen keeps the plan, the passbook, the reminders and the liability in one place — beside a customer record that remembers what they like.

Plans

11+1, 10+1, by amount or by weight

You design the plan; JewellerGen enforces it. Tenure, instalment, bonus, grace period and what happens if somebody stops paying — all configuration, not a conversation with support.

  • Amount-based — a fixed rupee instalment each month, with the shop's contribution as the bonus month.
  • Weight-based — each instalment buys grams at that day's rate, so the customer accumulates metal rather than money.
  • Bonus as a month, a percentage or a fixed amount, applied at maturity.
  • Grace and default rules — how many missed instalments before the plan lapses, and what the customer keeps.
  • Closure penalty for premature exit, stated on the enrolment document rather than argued about later.

Running it

Enrol at the counter, collect at the counter

Enrol

Two minutes at the counter: customer, plan, nominee, start date. The terms print, the first instalment is taken as a normal tender, and the passbook exists from that moment.

Collect

Later instalments are a tender on any counter in any branch. Weight-based plans convert at the rate on the board that day and record the grams bought.

Remind

Due and overdue instalments go out over WhatsApp, SMS or email on your schedule, with the passbook balance in the message.

Maturity

Redeemed as a tender, not a special case

On maturity the bonus is applied and the balance becomes a payment method. The customer picks a piece, the scheme pays for as much of it as it covers, and the rest settles like any other bill.

  • Bonus applied automatically at maturity per the plan's rule.
  • Redemption as a tender on a normal sale, with the balance visible on screen.
  • Partial redemption where the plan allows it, leaving the remainder on account.
  • Premature closure with the penalty rule applied and an approval recorded.
  • Nominee held on the enrolment for the case nobody likes to plan for.

What you owe

A scheme is a liability, and in a weight-based plan it is a liability in grams that moves with the gold price. The reports treat it that way.

  • Collections by branch, plan and period
  • Maturities due this month, next month, this quarter
  • Outstanding liability in money and in grams
  • Lapsed and defaulted plans, with what is retained
  • Redemption history against sales
Customers

A record worth having open when they walk in

Jewellery is bought a handful of times in a lifetime, and every one of those times matters. The customer page is built for the salesperson who has thirty seconds to remember who this is.

Everything they have done

Bills, exchanges, repairs, schemes, advances, appointments and messages — on one page, across every branch.

What fits and what they like

Ring and bangle size, preferred metal, stone and style, a wish list, and free notes from whoever served them last.

Money and metal held

Advances taken, credit outstanding and grams held on their metal account, each with a statement.

KYC that matches the country

PAN, Aadhaar last four and GSTIN in India; Emirates ID and TRN in the UAE. Captured when the threshold demands it, not scattered in notes.

Loyalty and offers

Points, tiers, coupons and personalised offers, with the birthday and anniversary reminders that actually bring people back.

Wholesale customers

Price lists per category, B2B tax invoices including UAE reverse charge, credit terms, outstanding and statements.

Leads & appointments

The enquiry that has not become a sale yet

Bridal shopping starts weeks before it finishes. A walk-in who "will come back with mother" is a lead, and losing track of them is the most expensive filing error a shop makes.

  • Capture from a website form, a WhatsApp message or a walk-in enquiry taken at the counter.
  • Qualify with budget, occasion, date and what they were shown.
  • Follow up as a task on a named salesperson, with a due date that shows on their home screen.
  • Book an appointment — online or in store — so the right person and the right pieces are ready.
  • Funnel report from lead to visit to sale, by source and by salesperson.
A note on messaging. WhatsApp, SMS and email all go through the same rules engine with per-customer preferences and a delivery log, and every attempt is recorded. Consent is a field, not an assumption — and a customer who asks to be forgotten can be exported and erased.

Tell us how your scheme actually works

Every shop's plan is slightly different, and the differences are the whole point. We would rather hear yours than guess.
