What we collect, and what we do not
This notice covers this website and the JewellerGen product. Last updated 9 September 2026.
1 · Who we are
JewellerGen is a product of SilverGen Technologies. For personal data submitted through this website, SilverGen Technologies is the data controller. For personal data held inside a customer's own JewellerGen account — their customers, their staff — the jewellery business is the controller and SilverGen Technologies is the processor, acting on that business's instructions.
Questions about either role: support@jewellergen.silvergentech.com.
2 · This website
The site is deliberately plain. It has:
- No third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tags.
- No third-party fonts, scripts or embeds. Fonts and icons are served from this domain, so your browser does not contact anyone else while you read.
- No cookies for tracking. The site sets none, which is why there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
The web server keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, time, the page requested, user agent — which are used to keep the site available and secure, and are retained for a short period before deletion.
3 · The demo request form
When you send the enquiry form we receive what you typed into it:
- Your name, shop or company name, email address and, if you give it, a phone number
- Where you bill, how many branches you run and what you told us matters most
- Anything you wrote in the message field
- The time of the submission and the IP address it came from, used only for abuse prevention
We use this to reply, to prepare a demonstration and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will, and confirm when it is done.
4 · Personal data inside the product
A jewellery business using JewellerGen stores personal data about its own customers and staff: names, contact details, purchase history and — where the law requires it — identity data such as PAN, the last four digits of an Aadhaar number, a GSTIN, an Emirates ID or a TRN.
How that data is protected is set out on the security page. In summary:
- Each business's data is kept separate from every other business's, enforced in four independent places rather than trusted to one.
- Identity and contact data is masked wherever it would otherwise reach a log file.
- Document attachments and stored secrets are encrypted at rest; all traffic is encrypted in transit.
- Access inside a business is controlled by role and by branch allocation, and every change is recorded in an audit log.
- The product provides export and erasure for an individual customer's data, and retention policies the business sets.
Our staff do not access a customer's own data except when asked to, for support, with that access recorded.
5 · Sub-processors
Running the hosted service involves a small number of suppliers — infrastructure hosting, transactional email, SMS and WhatsApp delivery, and where a customer enables them, statutory integrations such as an e-invoice service provider. A current list is available on request, and customers are told before a new one is introduced.
6 · Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use of it. Write to support@jewellergen.silvergentech.com and we will respond within one month.
If your personal data sits inside a jeweller's JewellerGen account — because you are their customer — that business is the right first point of contact, and we will support them in answering you.
7 · Changes
When this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top and, for customers, say so directly rather than relying on you to re-read the page.
